You'll contribute to ending world hunger by ...

cultivating donor relationships and having oversight of strategy implementation of engagement focused cultivation of events.

Key activities in your role will include
  • Manage a portfolio of donors 50 to 100 comprised of those who give at the $5,000 and above
  • Lead in planning and executing cultivation events while working closely with event leadership
  • Collaborate with External Relations team to identify engagement opportunities, and donor communications best practices
  • Manage and execute annual major donor appeals, including but not limited to quarterly appeals and a series of End-Of-Year appeals.

Do you meet the profile required criteria?
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with events.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience fundraising activities at a non-profit organization.
  • In-depth experience with Raiser's Edge strongly preferred.
  • Complete facility with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Sincere commitment to helping advance Action Against Hunger’s mission

You have Donor Relationship Building experience:

  • Experience asking for donations, cultivating and managing relationships with donors.
  • Drive and capacity to achieve high quality results as well as identify process improvements.

You are detail oriented:

  • You can complete multiple projects concurrently, while balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • You are driven and have the capacity to achieve high quality results as well as identify process improvements.
  • You work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • You are proactive; staying a step ahead of the team in managing work plans for each events and project.
